Animals of the Rainforest - Djungelns Djur English & Svenska Adventures of Nano Bear - Bilingual Books in English and Swedish for children

This book is intended to be read to a young child that is beginning to talk. The simple pictures are designed to be a starting point for a wider conversation around animal names, noises, colours, and interesting facts.

The concept of this book is similar to that of using flashcards. Each page is focused around one animal. There are 11 animals in this book and a simple world map that highlights the rainforest areas in the world.

All images are brightly coloured on solid colour background to emphasise the animal you are focusing on.You can decide how much time to spend talking about each animal depending on the child's age and engagement. With very young children you can just start by repeating the animal's name and the noise it makes. Gradually building up to introduce more basic facts so the child can learn a little more every time.
