Married for 25+ years, Michael Aimino and his wife Lori live on a small farm in rural Pennsylvania with their six children. A member of St. Mary Parish in Yatesboro, PA, Michael is active in the parish as a lector, Eucharistic minister, and adult faith formation teacher. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts in Ecclesial Ministry from St. Vincent Seminary. He has worked as a professional writer for over 25 years. He is a member of the board of directors for the Armstrong County Nonprofit Housing Corporation, which oversees the distribution of federal and state grant money for housing improvements for people of low- and moderate-incomes. Michael is a founder and vice-president of the board of directors for the St. Francis House of Hope, a non-profit Catholic Worker community which provides material assistance to the homeless and the hungry in Armstrong County. In his spare time, he enjoys tinkering with antique farm machinery and amusing his wife with his droll sense of humor.
