Gerardo A. Alfaro (Ph.D. Dallas Theological Seminary) was born in El Salvador. For almost 20 years he was a professor of Systematic Theology in the Central American Theological Seminary in Guatemala, where he now serves as an adjunct professor. He has been the pastor of local churches both in Central America and in US. Since 2005 he is professor of Theology in the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary of Dallas/Fort Worth in Texas. Together with his wife, Alma, and his children, Nahomi, Almita and Wes, he lives in Fort Worth.
