Maryland-bred Tay Moore has established himself as the funny guy and author with a mission: To Make America Read Again. With two self-published books, the 28-year-old has crafted a page-turning literary experience that infuses anecdotal tales about his childhood in his hometown, Frederick, with pop culture humor. Currently Tay's second book Even Moore Memoirs is available on all Amazon platforms. This 78-page book is filled with coming-of-age short stories which depict the real-life trials of young adulthood. In 2016, Moore published the first installment in the comical collection, Moore Memoirs. It is an in-depth look at the upbringing of a boy becoming a young teen. From finding out Santa wasn't real to sneaking out to parties and suffering the consequences of missing curfew. Tay has been honing his craft since high school, then later sharpening these skills at Hampton University. While at Hampton, Tay studied broadcast journalism where he would live some of the stories documented in Even Moore Memoirs. While at Hampton, Tay's witty takes earned him a role as co-host on his own Yard Radio pre-show, Tay and Tab, where he would interview fellow students on campus to discuss social issues, campus policies and more. Later, after graduation in 2011, he interned for Bleacher Report. Today, Tay resides in Atlanta, Georgia and looks forward to publishing more work for his current and future collections. He also gives back his time to the community by visiting highschools and middle schools spreading the awareness of reading.
