I still like to keep informed.) I was an Assistant Professor of Finance, Law, and Economics, Alfred State College, Senior Economics Professor 2001-2002 After only one year of teaching, I was elected Faculty Senate Chair. My understanding is that this is unprecedented in the history of the entire State University of New York system. This demonstrates that I quickly gained the confidence of my peers, who believed in me and my ability to run the large Faculty Governance Organization. As Faculty Senate Chair, I oversaw thirteen Standing and Affiliated Committees and three Ad Hoc Committees. I instituted the three Ad Hoc Committees including one on Advisement, one on Strategic Planning, and one charged with exploring the idea of a Teaching Excellence Center for Professional Development. I was co-host of the long running "Coleman and Company" political Affairs show in Corning, NY, and now have a weekly radio show "Law Talk".
