They are on the journeys to meet individual goals. Others, though still working the land, have reached a level where they can fully enjoy their accomplishments.

Author Details

Alice Shy Recker is Author of four of the fictional Beatrice Chandler Mysteries books. She also freelance writes in both fiction and non-fiction. Recker has ghostwritten two self-help books. She is published in magazines for short stories and articles for children and adults, and is a contributor to New Madrid County Missouri History and Families. The Author has won awards and recognition from Ozark Creative Writers, Alabama Writers Conclave and White County Creative Writers. In 2017 she was presented Book of the Year award from Storytellers of America for her book "Betrayal of the River." Alice lives in the Kansas City, Missouri area. She has two adult children.
