Sue Segal Sue Segal is an artist as well as a Fine Arts and Integrative Arts Educator. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education, majoring in Fine Arts at the University of Alberta, Canada. After graduating Sue developed curriculum and taught Visual Art and Design for ten years at Leduc Composite High School, in Leduc, Alberta, Canada. Sue expanded her education by studying Art Therapy, Intensive Movement and Creativity for the Authentic Self and Wise Owl Archetype under the instruction of Dr. JoAnn Hammond-Meiers. Sue brought this knowledge and expertise to Sacred Heart Catholic School where she introduced an art program geared towards healing and self-awareness. Sue also introduced an Expressive Arts Program, "Art for Me Too" and "Art Outreach" to the Edmonton Art Gallery, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. In 1998, Sue and her family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. There she studied Music Therapy training with Judith Pinkerton and Grief Studies with Dr. Raymond Moody at the University of Nevada, in Las Vegas. Sue initiated "Sue Segal's Expressive Arts" at the Las Vegas Art Museum, the "Imagination Station" at the Lied Natural History Museum, and participating artist in the "Arts as Educators" program, initiated by the Nevada Department of Cultural Affairs in conjunction with the Clark County School District, Las Vegas, Nevada, and the Kennedy Center, Washington, D.C. . In 2008 Sue created her company "Integrative Arts". Her programs were introducing interactive communication and personal discovery through creativity. A sampling of Sue's clients include: Piggott Elementary School, Sig Rogich Middle School, The Meadows High School, Prudential Americana, JW Marriott, Las Vegas Resort and Spa, and St. Judes Ranch, Boulder City, Nevada. Sue donated programs to Sunshine Kids and Child Focus in Las Vegas. Sue is currently living in Edmonton, Alberta where she resides with her husband Stephen and their three children Max, Emma, and Sarah. Sue's goal is to assist and inspire adolescents connecting them with their natural "Instinctual Ability" and to teach them how to transform and enhance their sense of self-esteem and personal growth - to learn of their true nature and to "NURTURE THEIR NATURE" through creativity.
