Barbara Kerr Scott, a native of Corpus Christi, Texas, earned a Bachelor of Arts at Queens College, Charlotte, N.C., and an interdisciplinary Masters and Ph.D. in History, Literature, Philosophy and Art History at the University of Oklahoma. She taught Art History for twenty-five years at Cameron University. She has been producing art and arts and crafts for several decades, with numerous shows and workshops to her credit. The twenty-one watercolors in this book will be in a solo exhibit from 18 October 2012 through 4 January 2013 at the Pride Gallery, Lawton, Oklahoma. More watercolors for a second book are planned for the near future.
