Kimber L. Shoop, Jr. is a retired Wall Street executive who has spent a lifetime hunting waterfowl, small game, and big game. He grew up in Delaware, earned a B.S. degree in Marketing from The American University in Washington, D.C., and lived most of his adult life on the New Jersey shore. He has resided in Colorado since 1992.
Kimber has successfully pursued big game in ten states, including Alaska, plus the two Canadian provinces of Alberta and Newfoundland. Many of those hunts are highlighted in this book; however, others, such as Canada goose hunts in Delaware and New Jersey, Specklebelly goose and flooded-timber wood duck hunts in Texas, and a whitetail deer hunt using hounds in southern Virginia, have been saved for a future Hunting Adventures sequel. Hunting Adventures, From Father to Son is the author's first book, the product of a five-year labor of love initially intended solely as a graduation gift for his son, but later extended as a gift for everyone to enjoy.
