Barbara Arneil, Professor and Head of the Political Science Department, University of British Columbia Barbara Arneil is Professor and Head of Political Science, University of British Columbia. Her publications include Diverse Communities: The Problem with Social Capital (CUP, 2006), Politics and Feminism (Wiley-Blackwell, 1999), and John Locke and America: The Defense of English Colonialism (OUP, 1996). She has won the Harrison Prize (best article published in Political Studies), CB Macpherson Prize short list, Rockefeller residential fellowship, and the UBC Killam Research and Teaching Prizes.
