I have been interested in the Peninsular War for nearly forty years specialising in the campaigns involving the British Army. During my research I have reprinted several rare works including the trilogy starting with 'Strictures on Napier's History of the Peninsular War and the correspondance between C E Long and Beresford. My first book, 'The Fatal Hill' was centred around the battle of Albuera. I have also edited a book on the British Napoleonic General George Madden. My Book 'Wellington's Engineers' about the Royal Engineers during the Peninsular war was published in 2015. Visit www.wellingtonsengineers.co.uk I have edited and republished several other works. Details can be found on my website. Visit my website at www.marksthompson.co.uk
