Sharad Tripathi, who identifies himself as a 'dreamer by heart, ' is an advertising marketing professional and an entrepreneur. Having been intrigued by the lives of others through observation, he believes that every life has a story that needs to be told. The author is one who believes that any change should start with the self. A self-proclaimed 'Facebook Activist, ' he also makes his opinion known on the issues of politics and life.

Overcoming several disadvantages and limitations, The Fight Backs is Sharad's first novel and aims to break several stereotypes prevalent in the society. He uses a fresh style of writing and storytelling.

He lives with his family - parents, wife and two children - who are yet unaware of his first published book.
