Do you know the name of the Italian-American that the U.S. government now recognizes as the true inventor of the telephone? Do you know the name of the Tuscan colonist who Thomas Jefferson paraphrased in his famous "all men are created equal" clause in the Declaration of Independence? Did you know that if you were Italian-American in the 1800's and early 1900's you were of the ethnicity second most likey to be lynched?
