Lisa Y. Adams, PhD, MSc, RN, is Course Instructor, Athabasca University, Alberta, CA, and Mental Health and Addictions Consultant, Ministry of Health, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, CA. For six years, Dr. Adams was Division Manager, Geriatric Psychiatry, Waterford Hospital, and, simultaneously, was Community Health Nurse/Crisis Intervener, Health and Community Services, St.John's Region, Newfoundland, CA.
