Christine is an author, illustrator, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She also loves travelling and collecting recipes, memories and experiences. Christine decided to write a recipe book as her family love all her special curries and snacks and were asking for the recipes. This book is a legacy for them and generations of family to come. Christine has been connected to India for 3 generations, starting with her grandfather, a medical officer in Belgaum, India. She used to listen to all his stories and look at photos and inherited his love of the Anglo Indian food. Later, after getting married and having kids, she learnt many of the dishes from the large Anglo-Indian community in the UK, which included her extended family. Christine has also spent much time in India with annual visits over a long period of time when she collected recipes and tried them out to add to her repertoire. Christine's children and grandchildren continue the tradition, with her son being especially adept at dishing out delicious curries!
