Jjs Stinking Thinking
The JJ book series is a storybook devotional that tells the stories of a young Christian named JJ who is learning what it means to be a Christian. As young readers see JJ learning about his faith, they will gain tools that will help build theirs and show them how they can live out the teachings in the Bible. The discussion questions at the end of the book will help parents engage their young ones in conversations that will help to reinforce how the lesson from the story applies to their lives.
In JJ's Stinking Thinking, JJ learns the value of the command in Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things" (NIV). As JJ struggles with negative thinking, we see how it affects his day. However, when he starts applying the teachings of Philippians 4:8, we see how positive thinking gives him a whole new attitude.
