Fosbury Style High Jump

Preface American athlete Dick Fosbury first used a "back-first" technique in the 19th Olympic Games in 1968 and took the gold medal in men's high jump event. Afterwards, the position he used caused great interest and attention from athletes and coaches all over the world. Since then, all athletes and coaches have scrambled to adapt this position in high jump competitions. It has been widely adopted and has broken many high jump records.
