The SMOKY JACK BAND is the name of Kenny's original-music band. SMOKY JACK eventually became a tight, energetic duo performing original compositions, the two becoming popular enough to open for such traveling headliners as Papa John Creech, Linda Ronstadt, Gino Vanelli, Sha Na Na, and even George Carlin. Kenny formed "The Special K" with his wife Karen. The two toured the Northwest, Canada and Alaska as a music/musical comedy act for 8 years, and you can read about it in the book "RIDING in the CHEVY: 8 YEARS OUT". Kenny's light-hearted Christmas song "HO-HO SANTA, DON'T WANNA BOOGIE TONIGHT" was released Christmas, 2011. This Christmas song is a fun blues number that discusses Santa's return home on the 26th of December, all tuckered out and ready to rest. The album NAKED JACK, was released at Cincinnati's 20th Century Theater on January 19th, 2012. This release features 15 songs. An amazing array of original songs that travel through a number of pop/rock genres, the folk lyrics are compelling, and the emotions raw. COUNTRY JACK, was released in the Spring of 2012. It is a collection of Kenny's country style of songwriting, and features a few fun cuts, good dancing material, and some terrific players. On this release also is the single previously released last year for Father's Day titled MY DAD & I, a terrific, heartwarming song. "RIDING in the CHEVY" is the fun new single that accompanies the 2015 release of Kenny's book "RIDING in the CHEVY: 8 YEARS OUT"
