Since retiring from the college teaching profession, Don E. Johnson has written three books, multiple blog entries, several web sites and spent a good portion of his life in Europe. The Martinique Diversion is an attempt to produce a readable novel that's basically intended to be a quick and entertaining read. Based on time spent in the Army Security Agency in Germany and a B.A. degree in German, he developed a life-long interest in the European portion of WWII.
