Patrick M. Foster, a Baby Boomer himself, grew up in southern California and attended the University of Southern California in Philosophy. He received his PhD in Religious Studies from UCSB and has taught at the college level, elementary, preschool, and at the Krishnamurti high school (Oak Grove School) in Ojai, California. He now directs the Construction Academy at Santa Barbara City College in Santa Barbara, California. His ambition is to show that not all boomers succumbed to sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll (at least not completely) and in fact have done some serious soul-searching and thinking outside the box.
