Elizabeth Monacelli has been entertaining audiences with her violin for the past twenty five years. Receiving her musical training at the Juilliard School and the New England Conservatory of Music, Ms. Monacelli has performed with some of the world's most elite musicians. She is a three-time national competition winner and has collaborated with Leonard Bernstein, Joseph Silverstein, John Williams, James Galway and Zubin Mehta. In addition to being classically trained, Ms.Monacelli has performed for movies, television shows and toured with an extensive list of pop artists which include Barry White, Natalie Cole, Luther Vandross, Smokey Robinson, Ray Charles, Steve Lawrence, Dudley Moore, Liza Minelli, Shirley Jones, Sting, Moody Blues and Wayne Newton. On Valentine's Day 2003, while still a young adult, Ms. Monacelli had a musician's worst nightmare come true. She collapsed of a heart attack, stroke (which paralyzed her on the left side), liver failure and congestive heart failure all on the same day! Through perseverance, ingenuity, knowledge and a desperate will to live, Ms. Monacelli created a system to miraculously recover from her diseases. Ms. Monacelli is an official spokesperson for the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association. She has been sharing her message about heart disease and stroke with companies such as Qualcomm, Pacificare and Raytheon. Additionally, Ms. Monacelli focuses her message to young people, in children's hospitals, schools and youth organizations. Ms. Monacelli has been presented with numerous awards including "Outstanding Achievement Award" from the American Heart Association and "Model of Miraculous Qigong Healing" from the Eighth World Congress on Qigong.
