Alexis Mantheakis is a widely translated writer who has been featured on CNN, NBC, Al Jazeera, USA Today, Playboy, the Guardian, Associated Press, AFP, Le Point, L'Illustre, the East African Standard Sunday Magazine, Madison, the History Channel and other news and press outlets across the world. A Tanzanian-born British and Stanford-educated Greek political analyst and writer he has had articles published in Vanity Fair, Esquire and in many other international magazines and newspapers. He is the former press spokesman, adviser and inner family circle member of the Onassis family. Former head of a Greek parliamentary party press office and spokesman for the party. His novel "SONGHOR - An African saga", based on a true story is a rags-to-riches 100 year story of three generations of a glamorous family in German, and later British colonial east Africa. He maintains a close friendship with Athina Onassis until today.
