Dr. Richard L. Treiman is a graduate of the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. After internship, residency, and fellowship, he practiced vascular surgery at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California for 40 years. While maintaining a private practice, Dr. Treiman volunteered his time to teach at the Los Angeles County USC Medical Center where he was Clinical Professor of Surgery. After retirement, he taught at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Salt Lake City where he was Adjunct Professor of Surgery. During his career, he authored or co-authored over 50 articles and 6 chapters in textbooks, all relating to his specialty. Dr. Treiman began investing when he launched his practice, and he ultimately funded his retirement through his investments. In this book, Dr. Treiman combines his teaching skills with over 50 years of experience to walk you through the fundamentals of investing.
