During the American Civil War, a minister asked President Lincoln whether God was on their side. He answered by saying, "Sir, my concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God's side, for God is always right. Today every American should ask, "Am I on God's side?" Never before in the history of the United States have the words "Democrats Against God" been truer than now. Democrats do not simply fail to do God's will on moral issues; they fail in virtually all areas. Every vote is a vote for or against God. On Judgment Day Christ will reject many Americans who call themselves Christians because they failed to do "the will of my Father" (Matt. 7:21-23). Many Americans believe that they have the right to do whatever is right in their own eyes, and they treasure that freedom. This book is not written for them. It is only written for Christians who believe that all Scripture is inspired by God and who want to be obedient to the Greatest Commandment: "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might" (Deut. 6:5).
