Giraffes giraffes... and more giraffes

Karin Silbert has been making illustrations appealing to children of age as well as children at heart for more than 20 years, not only digitally generated for print, also hand painted on murals, clothing and all kinds of decorative stuff. She started her creating career very young, always interested in animals interacting with people life. Has a traditional painting background and she graduated from an Art School. Ever since then she started her traveling/ creating life till today. At first painting murals in children rooms, activity that took her ver young away from a steady clientele and even media exposure life in her mother country, Argentina, to USA and Europe, always painting and living in people houses like in the Renaissance... was definitely a dream come through... One the day in a clients house, she bumped with a computer offering millions of colors, was almost love at first sight, thought took many many years to master, digital became her primary media till today. This allowed her to travel lighter, no more paper and brutes, just a computer with a Wacom tablet. She's an eternal explorer, traveling is a way of life and even better if traveling by boat or bicycle. She keeps being a children at heart and after wondering around half of the world, decided to settle in paradisiac summer resort Punta del Este, Uruguay, almost 20 years ego, off season isolated by then has become quite a popular place to live for people from around the world. The beauty of it's nature is an unlimited means of inspiration as well as her fairy tale house.
