Victoria E. Salazar Botero is from Armenia, Colombia where grows coffee, plantain and tropical fruits. She is an example of the people and the love she feels for her country. On January 2017 was honored with the Prize for the First place in self-published e-book in the category of Poetry from Writer's Digest. She studied business and later specialized in Human Resources and Trans-personal Psychologist. She has taught at universities and worked with different organizations in Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador and United States. In 2004 she married Texan Kyle Franks and moved to the United States and she becomes Victoria E. Franks. She has since earned a Master in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language from the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana of Puerto Rico, USA. She has translated several books and written business guides. She uses poetry as one of the ways to learn English. She took writing and poetry classes in Arizona and continued in Pensacola, Florida. She started writing poetry when happiness found her.
