Irene Nielsen, PsyD has merged historical performance experiences, Humanistic support theories, and standard positive psychological assessment tools to create the Institute for preparing Historical first-person performers in the story-telling discipline. As a life long learner, Dr. Nielsen demonstrates inter-disciplinary experiences and makes creative contributions for both teaching and performing. Dr. Nielsen regularly performs as authentic stories of women who challenged and changed history. As a University professor, Dr. Nielsen continues to explore relevant historical and psychological research. She continues to learn and perform while she is dedicated to mentoring students to the authentic Historical first-person storytelling art form.
