Jackie Davenport, D.E.S., perceived early that mind somehow influences matter. Her perceptions of early situations with her family members opened her mind to possibilities of what is or can be. Through the years, various incidents that she personally observed or heard others talking about kept convincing her that mind somehow affects matter. And she kept finding corroboration for her conviction in both fiction and various categories of non-fiction literature and in other media. Her life-long personal experiences-including so-called paranormal experiences, which she considers normal-her professional experiences as a clinical hypnotherapist and her findings from her various structured and unstructured academic pursuits all have converged to convince her that each of us human beings can practice natural health through consciousness via our desires, beliefs, attitudes, actions and reactions, thoughts, emotions, visualizations, self-suggestions or affirmations, prayers and expectations. Since the mid 1970s, she has experienced various types of psychic phenomena-both spontaneous and purposely induced, including channeling since late 1992-and she is interested in and fascinated by anything having to do with consciousness. However, she is most interested in and fascinated by mind/body/spirit possibilities of what makes a person sick and what makes a person well. Thus, her highest desire for purposely utilizing consciousness is centered in her ongoing absolute practice of natural health through consciousness-a mind/body/spirit self-healing way-which she began on March 18, 1992, relying on her inherent healing abilities in all circumstances. Born in the mid 1930s, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology in 1978 at age forty-two; a Clinical Hypnotherapy certification in 1993 at age fifty-seven; a second Clinical Hypnotherapy certification in 1994 at age fifty-eight; and a Doctor of Esoteric Studies degree in 2006 at age seventy.
