Nobody is Loyal

Kayla Hartford is an all around American girl. She is the apple of her mother Diana's eye and will forever be a daddy's girl to her late father Charles. Kayla excels in everything she does from ballet and horse back riding to her academics and she has her eye set on being successful and set out to start her life after high school. Her mother's protective ways threaten her perfect life starting from the day she introduce her to her boyfriend Ja'Shawn. From first sight Diana doesn't like him. Since her husband's death, Kayla was all Diana had left. Diana isn't going to let anyone stand in between her and Kayla, even Ja' Shawn. But Kayla tries her best to assure him that he all that she needs in spite of how her mother feels. College time is supposed to be the time where you can let your hair done and have fun but not for Kayla. Her life quickly turns into a series of unfortunate events. Kayla must find a way to push through all the negativity but she quickly realizes that the people around her may not be exactly who she thought they were. And finds herself believing that nobody is loyal.
