Elisha Yisrael was Born in St. Andrew Jamaica, West Indies to a father who was a Police officer and a mother a Public Health Nurse. Attended a prestigious High School, Wolmer's Boys' School in Kingston and graduated in 1983. Migrated to the United States in 1983 and attended Mt. Vernon High School briefly, after which he joined the US Marine Corps from 1984 to 1988 where he served as a Combat Engineer. He attended Queensborough Community College receiving an AAS in Electronic Engineering 1994, during which time while working at IBM on Dekalb Ave. in Brooklyn New York, met a young man who guided him to men who new the history of the scriptures very well, he attended his first Shabaut worship at Bedford and St. Johns. Elisha Yisrael then continued college at New York City Technical College for a BS in Robotics, which was in-completed at his senior year, because of a desire to learn the Holy Scriptures. After close to 12 years of theological studies in Brooklyn New York, relocated to Orlando Florida to teach others the scriptures and basic Hebrew: Also to gain insight to write. He relates this book, "After looking back on my journey through life and places I have stayed including Puerto Rico for six months, the Virgin Islands and the Bahamas. I looked at the plight of my people lost in the world, walking around without a name or identity. I decided to write about our history and where it all began. Many will not take heed but all it takes is just a few." Elisha Yisrael has written a few more books he is yet to get published, 'Hebrew lessons', 'Insights Into The Holy Scriptures-Conflicts & Explanations', and 'Sleeping Giants'.
