Katherine Cobb (formerly Briganti) was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California. She has lived in West Virginia since 1993, where she and her husband have raised three sons. Her debut novel, Skyline Higher, was published in 2014. She has contributed to numerous publications throughout the mid-Atlantic region in the past two decades. Her award winning editorial column, "It Is What It Is," for The Journal won first place for Best Lifestyle Columnist by the West Virginia Press Association.
