Phyllis Horner, PhD, is on a mission to help people change their thinking and take action to find fulfillment at work, no matter what their age. She grew up in the era where fitting in was expected, and learned the hard way that breaking out is the key to real career success and gravitas. An organizational psychologist, she is based in Honolulu, Hawaii. She's a speaker, motivator, coach and author. Phyllis grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, worked her way through college, and then moved to Michigan, where she earned a PhD from Wayne State University. She worked for Ford Motor Company for several years, helping to design career, performance, and employee engagement systems. After 10 icy winters, Phyllis moved to Honolulu, Hawaii, and declared that she had "won the life lottery." She holds many certifications for psychological assessments including MBTI, DiSC, and the Birkman Assessment.
