Description

This is the first in a series of novels called The William Bell Detective Series, featuring William (Bill) Bell, a former FBI special agent and native of Eureka, California. In this novel we meet the main characters of the series while Bill investigates a friend's being driven off the road and the attempts of a San Francisco based cartel to take over some local night clubs. He starts out thinking the local club owner, Tony, is a crook, responsible for his friend's accident, but he learns along the way the club owner is another victim. There is excitement as he faces the challenges of finding the truth. In the end he catches the true bad guys and falls for his longtime friend and marries her. His story ends happily as he prepares for his honeymoon and further adventures. The story takes place in Eureka, CA and is faithful to the people and places of the town.

I started seriously writing several years ago. Now I wish to share my stories with the world and hope you find them worth sharing. I am a "people person" and I think my work shows it, written with humor and insights on life. I live with my wife of many years and our dog, Princess Leia. I have 1 published book, To Catch a Nymph. I won a second place award in the Greyden Press 2013 Book Competition for another book.
