The Smolder

Kathryn Judson is the author of several books. In her earlier days she was (at various times) a newspaper reporter, a columnist, a delivery driver, a bookstore operator, a producer's assistant in a summer stock company, and a waitress. When she was in grade school, she read every biography in the school library, and from there she branched out into reading other historical books, a habit that continues. She grew up in the American West, and has lived there most of her life, with detours to the Midwest and Texas.
