The Spirit Driven Church The Rapid Spontaneous Expansion of the Church

These are the words of Jesus. "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and the ends of the earth!" (Acts 1:8)First let it be said what this book is not. It is not a how to manual on Church planting or Church growth. It is not a program or system that can be planned out and understood by the religious mind. It is not a plan to return to biblical New Testament Church government. It is not a strategy on how we can bring about the return of Jesus Christ. It is not a how to handbook to evaluate your gifts or build and multiply your leadership qualities. It is not a scheme to help bring in the last great revival.It is not a discipleship training program. It is not a helps guide to tweak, modify or strengthen current methods of Church planting or Church growth strategies. It is not a method to provide you and your Church with more or better tools for Church expansion or to evaluate techniques to increase the last day harvest. The Spirit Driven Church was written to encourage the Rapid Spontaneous Expansion of Spirit infused believers in any geographical area. Believers are immersed in the Burning Flame of God's love and power and are driven to see that love ablaze in others! In the Marks Gospel as John the Baptist is baptizing Jesus and He comes up out of the water the heavens open and the Holy Spirit descends on Him in the form of a dove. A voice speaks to Him from heaven saying, "You are my dearly loved son, with you I am well pleased." The very next verse states, "The Spirit immediately drove Him out into the wilderness." Since the body of Jesus was 'Driven by the Spirit' after going into the waters of baptism and having the Holy Spirit descend upon Him, should not the members of His body on the earth today (His Church) be Spirit Driven as well? The Spirit Driven Church explores what happens when the Church releases it's control and allow the Wind of God's Spirit to fan love's flames into a raging fire! Will you allow the fiery flame of God's passionate love that was driving Jesus be what is driving you? Let it be so and together we will see the knowledge of the glory of our Lord cover the earth as the waters cover the sea!
