Jeff Rosenplot is a novelist and playwright. Born July 20, 1969 in Belleville, Ontario, Canada, Rosenplot moved to the United States in 1993. He is married and is the father of an adult daughter. Jeff Rosenplot writes dark fiction, which he describes as follows: "If Stephen King and Carl Jung went on a date, and met up with Jeffrey Dahmer, their love child would be dark fiction. It's not horror and it's not a psychological thriller, but has elements of both." Dark fiction is the peeling back of human masks. It delves into the depth of personal pain and struggle, which are the key motivators of all behavior. Jeff Rosenplot is the author of Water, a novel set after catastrophic climate change has thrown the world into chaos. He is also the author two short story collections, Midwestern Love Songs and its dark cousin, Midwestern B Sides. As well, he is the author of Intermezzo, a love story. He is also the author of the play, The Transitional Man. He is currently working on multiple new projects, including new novels, plays and television and film scripts. Jeff Rosenplot has been writing all his life. To learn more or to order any of his books, please visit the bookstore at jeffrosenplot.com.
