Daria Barwinska writes as an undergraduate student at Anderson University in Anderson Indiana. Daria grew up in Poland and traveled to the US for college. She has jumped both feet in to the experience of a college student traveling to see America with college groups. Daria, in part because of her trip to Kenya, is a fully engaged philanthropist helping to organize shoe drives to fight jiggers, and book drives for Kenyan school libraries in addition to her work on the Frepal's Clinic fund in Kibera Slum Nairobi Kenya. She is the recipient of the Anderson University CRC Heritage Award in 2009, and a recipient of a Global Student Solutions internship also in 2009.
