Judy Galbraith, M.A., has a master's degree in guidance and counseling of the gifted. She has worked with and taught gifted children and teens, their parents, and their teachers for more than 30 years. In 1983, she started Free Spirit Publishing, which specializes in Self-Help for Kids(R) and Self-Help for Teens(R) books and other learning resources. She is the author of numerous books, including The Survival Guide for Gifted Kids and The Gifted Teen Survival Guide. Judy lives in Minneapolis. Jim Delisle, Ph.D., has taught gifted children and those who work on their behalf for over three decades as a professor of education at Kent State University and a gifted education teacher in the Twinsburg, Ohio, Public Schools. Jim has written 16 books on various topics related to children and education, and his frequent consulting with schools has allowed him to visit each of the 50 states as well as nations as diverse as England, China, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey.
