Bill S. Lee started to home school his daughter in 2001. When his daughter entered 2nd grade, he was looking for curricular and books that taught word problems reasoning and solving strategies, but he did not find any. Having been educated in Asia, he has mastered the techniques of word problems solving. He understands that word problem solving is the key to math learning and to science subjects and that the foundation of word problem reasoning and solving needs to be built from elementary school. Therefore, he began to make his own curricular for his daughter based on the learning style of American students. 11 years later, his daughter scored 100% on the math section of SAT and 100% on the SAT math subject test.
